Quality Control

At Twinkle Metal Sculpture, quality is the foundation of every project. We manufacture sculptures based on each client’s design, cultural background, and project budget. By working with customers around the world, we have developed a clear and efficient process to ensure every sculpture meets high standards.

1. Design Confirmation

Before production begins, our team carefully reviews the project requirements, including size, materials, installation location, and surface finish. We work closely with clients to confirm all important details such as material specifications, finishing methods, internal structure design, color codes, transportation solutions for large sculptures, and installation systems.

This preparation stage helps ensure the design is fully understood and approved before fabrication starts.

A. 3D Modeling

3D modeling provides a more accurate way to review sculpture designs than traditional sketches or 2D drawings. It allows clients and engineers to examine the sculpture from every angle and make adjustments easily before production.

If clients cannot open the 3D files, we can provide a 360° video preview for convenient viewing. We can also 3D print a small model and send it to clients by DHL or FedEx for physical confirmation.

3D models are also useful for structural and load calculations.

B. Clay Model

While modern technology is useful, traditional sculpting techniques are still valuable in many projects. For example, bronze casting sculptures often benefit from the artistic texture of a handmade clay model.

Our experienced sculptors can create clay models that capture fine artistic details, offering clients another reliable way to confirm the sculpture design.

2. Structural Calculations

For large-scale sculptures, structural safety is extremely important. Before fabrication, necessary calculations are carried out to evaluate potential risks and ensure the sculpture can safely withstand environmental forces.

Typical calculations may include:

  • Dead load structural calculations
  • Wind load analysis
  • Seismic load analysis

These reports help verify that the sculpture, foundation, and mounting system are structurally safe and suitable for the installation environment.

3. Quality Control During Production

To maintain consistent quality, we follow a strict inspection system throughout the manufacturing process.

A. Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

All raw materials are inspected before production, including material grade, thickness, and surface condition, ensuring they match the project specifications.

B. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)

During production, we monitor each stage of fabrication, including internal structure welding, shaping, surface finishing, and color confirmation. Regular progress updates with photos and videos are provided to keep clients informed.

C. Final Quality Control (FQC)

Before shipment, our team carefully checks all aspects of the sculpture, including dimensions, surface finish, texture, color accuracy, assembly system, and packaging. High-resolution photos and videos are provided for client approval.

D. Outgoing Quality Control (OQC)

Third-party inspection services are welcome if required. Clients may also arrange their own representatives to inspect the sculptures before shipment.
